In today's show, you will meet Ange, she has experience working with students who have required structured play or scaffolded play as they need to learn how to play and to be included. She observed children with PMLD or complex needs cannot play freely without being guided or supported, and they will need that support due to physical, sensory, and communication difficulties.
"Before saying something that might hurt someone, take a piece of paper and crumple it up. Now try to make it the way it was before…You can’t, right? People's hearts are like this piece of paper. Once hurt, leaving them the way you found them is difficult. Before saying something hurtful, think hard about what you are saying. Always be considerate. Always be kind."
