The Naked Parent Podcast

Parents with special needs children are overwhelmed, The Naked Parent Podcast assists parents while they build the life and family of their dreams.

Everyday, you can join Chad Ratliffe, father of 7 and 2 with special needs as he interviews parents and professionals in an effort to deliver what it's like to raise special needs children. They don’t shy away from tough subjects. You will hear the good, the bad, and the ugly in order for parents to make the adjustments necessary to live the life they always dreamed of.

If raising a special needs child isn’t what you signed up for, you’re struggling and overwhelmed with what it takes to raise a special needs child or you are looking for community and other parents who can understand where you are coming from, then, join Naked Parent Nation because this show is for you!

Naked Parent Nation is an international community of parents with special needs children who believe that raising a child with unique needs doesn’t have to hold a family back from living a life beyond their wildest dreams. We just have to implement tips, tricks, plan ahead, raise our emotional intelligence & do it together.

In today’s show, you will meet Jim, a father of two, including a 5-year-old boy with autism. He is a writer, blogger, and executive director of a regional construction trade association. He started the blog “Ps and Q: Parenting, Productivity, and Quarantine” in March of 2020 and writes daily about the challenges of being a working parent during the age of COVID, as well as his journey as a parent of a child with special needs. Jim lives near Denver, Colorado.

"Every day has its victories."
